we all know how disfellowshipped or disassociated children get treated by their jw parents, that they are totally shunned.
but what happens when it comes to family inheritance do they get treated fairly or do they get a lesser share or in extreme cases perhaps nothing at all?
and would jw parents that have no children left in the wts choose to give everything to the org?
How long has the borg asked for money from estates? It's been a long time since I have been associated (about 20+years), but I don't recall this at all. My
parents are asking my sister if she wants their house. She is the only one in the same town. She doesn't really want it. With all of this talk about willing
to the borg, I am now worried. They are less than semi-active. But still are firm believers. (At least mom is)
one of matt's friends got me a furby over the weekend off of ebay.
i wanted one as soon as i remembered a jdub telling me that they were forbidden...i never knew why...does anyone know?

a few years ago i know that the wtbts charged 1% above base rate when a local congregation needed funds from the kingdom hall build fund which all had donated to.. does anyone know if this is still the case?.

What Christians!!! Do you lock them out? A congragation near me, burned half way. They built a new hall on the other side of town. Then sold the old one to a non-denom. church. I guess the elders are owners, and could sell it to another church. But how many churches want a building without windows, and plain jane like the KH's.

my wife and i went out to a mexican restaurant the other night... and the place was packed...with tons of people waiting, which was a little unusual.
as we're waiting we notice everyone seems overdressed... then we saw them...the name tags...

well, i could not avoid going today; a close friend got dunked and i had to go.. i was not even in my seat when i was already writing down egregious mind control bs: the first of the day and here it is:.

my day got started with that puker.. ok, sit down and take more notes; not enough caffeine to take it straight.
I went to the Methodist Church this morning. Love was preached this morning. My child was confirmed, along with about 10 other young people. Glad she is now a member of a loving congragation instead of a cult. I did not hear the word obedient one time.
